The Highridge Water Authority is committed to providing our consumers with a reliable and affordable supply
of high-quality drinking water. Highridge meets or exceeds state and federal standards. The state requires of to monitor for certain substances less other than once per year because the concentrations of these substances do not change frequently. This annual “Consumer Confidence Report,” required by the Safe Drinking Water Act, tells you where your water comes from, what our tests show about it, and other things you should know about drinking water. LEAD SERVICE LINE INVENTORY
Pursuant to EPA and DEP’s Lead and Copper Service Line Rule, Highridge Water Authority is developing and updating a service line materials inventory. Although most of Highridge’s water system has been identified as “no lead”, parts of the former Mace Springs Water Company in Bolivar and West Bolivar have yet to be identified. These two villages are mostly labeled as “lead status unknown.” More research will be done in these communities over the next few years to determine the material of these service lines.
